Cross Country here we come

We are really going for it with the cross country at the moment.

Jack and Jack worked out that our practice course was 320m. We are using this to see how far we run in a day, week , month, etc.

Also the Savvy 7 maths group has a goal. To run to Wellington Train Station before the cross country. That is 15.1 km. Some are going for there and back. Way to GO!

Today we had the chance to find our a lot about skating!
It was amazing to see how talented the people were. It was fun to see Ruth on skates, she did really well. We were the best school at scoring in the goal.

The new look of Savvy 7's Blog

One term has passed and the blog has helped us celebrate our term and keep our parents informed of what we are doing. Look at the number of followers we now have.

It is time for some of us to take more of a management role. They will help contribute new ideas to our blog.

This is an invitation to those of you who would like to make a weekly contribution to the blog in a way that interests you. This may be a way of ticking off some home learning activities.

Would you like to be a weekly contributor who shares games that they find that others would enjoy? Are you wanting to start a comic strip and add a bit every week? Would you be great at sharing the weekly school news, just like a real reporter? There are many things that this blog really needs. What other ideas have you got?

Sorry but Mrs Campbell was away for the last 2 days of term due to a very sick family member but it is great to see that Mrs Graham and Mrs Brewer kept things ticking over nicely.
